Eva, Treatment Coordinator
Eva is a lifelong Alaskan. After finishing the ANMC dental assistant program in 2006, she began her career as a patient care coordinator and office manager. She has completed training through the American Association of Dental Office Managers and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has earned college credits from UAA and is CPR, X-Ray and Invisalign certified. Eva admires Dr. Crosby’s requirement for continued education so that their office may provide patients with the best possible care.
Whether it’s relieving pain or working with a patient who doesn’t like their smile, Eva likes being able to make a positive difference in someone’s life. She adds, “Dr. Crosby has a great attitude. The atmosphere in the office is calming and friendly. You are in good hands. No matter what condition your teeth are in, we’re happy to help you get the healthy smile you want.”
Eva’s one piece of advice to patients? You only need to floss the teeth you want to keep!
In her free time, Eva enjoys spending time in Alaska’s beautiful outdoors with her husband Blake, daughter Ezra, and their Teacup Yorkie named Tucker.
Jessica, Dental Hygienist
Jessica comes to us from California with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. In 2011, she relocated to Alaska, and is proud to call such a beautiful state “home.”
As a dental hygienist, Jessica is gentle, yet thorough, providing each patient with the right start to great oral hygiene. She enjoys the calm atmosphere that Dr. Crosby has created in his office, and his passion for patient-focused dental care. Jessica said of working with Dr. Crosby, “He really takes the time to listen to our patients and adapt our treatment to their individual needs. I highly respect his philosophy on dentistry.”
Outside of the office, Jessica spends much of her free time camping and absorbing the natural beauty of the Alaskan landscape.
Jessica recommends each patient, “use your Sonicare twice a day and floss every night. If you’d like to try something new, consider a Waterpik or essential oil mouthwash.” Not only does this make her job easier, it also shortens your appointment time and helps keep your mouth healthy.
Jessica is always happy to answer any questions you may have about hygiene and oral health.
