Implant Dentistry

If you are missing teeth, dental implants are the closest replacement to natural teeth. They support your goal toward ultimate oral health and provide a natural-looking magnificent smile. Over time, healthy adjacent teeth begin to shift to compensate for the missing teeth. This can alter the way you bite, chew, and even talk. If missing teeth are not replaced, your jaw bone can start to deteriorate and cause a variety of complications.

Dental implants stop bone atrophy and teeth shifting. We provide dental implant service to patients looking for a durable, lasting replacement for missing teeth. First, a titanium post is surgically placed into your bone where the missing tooth once was. Once it heals, the post will act as a root for a crown, which we’ll attach to the post. Throughout the whole procedure, we’ll keep you relaxed and comfortable.

Place and restore implant

Dr. Crosby can place and restore your implant. The entire process is done in our office, by the team you trust, from start to finish. You don’t have to make additional appointments with specialists or oral surgeons. Once your implant heals, we’ll create a beautiful crown restoration to bond to the implant, bringing back full functionality to your teeth.

Just like traditional dental implants, mini-implants permanently replace lost teeth. This type of dental implant is smaller so they usually don’t require complex surgery or bone grafting. Mini-implants are great in places where traditional implants are too large, or in areas where there is less supporting bone. Since the process is less invasive, the healing time is quicker. Mini-implants are great solutions for patients with dentures that are loose or fit poorly. Anchoring the patient’s denture to an implant is a great way to get better dentures.

Implant-retained Dentures

For security and comfort, implant-retained dentures come out on top. They are secured by four implant posts, and the set of dentures snap into place. They are completely removable, just like traditional dentures, but they don’t slip, shift, or rub. You may be able to have your existing set of dentures altered to fit on the implant posts, or we can create a whole new pair for your implants. Eliminate embarrassing denture slips with secured implant-retained dentures.

Bone Grafts

In some cases, a bone graft procedure may be required before a dental implant can be placed. This treatment increases the amount of bone that exists where the implant is to be placed, meaning it will be better supported with an increased chance of success. Bone grafts can be done to either preserve the current amount of bone or slightly increase it.

Technology-CT Scan

Our cone-beam CT scanner makes the process of implant placement accurate and easy. The process is simple, and is the best, most non-invasive way to ensure your jaw bone is healthy enough to support the dental implant and predict any possible issues with placement. Radiation emissions from the dental cone-beam CT scan are lower than other types of scanners. Our technology helps us deliver results you expect and deserve.
